From the mist- shrouded time of the Celtic legends to the torn and scarred terrain of the modern world, The Warrior Irish creates the turbulent tale of the Irish fighting man. Not only does the range address the Irish warrior’s impact historically hut it also recognises the dislocation unique to his story. In the garb of many armies, so often not his own, the Irish fighting man is depicted at crucial moments in time.

Each set captures the essential colour, and the often poignant romance of the Irish warrior in the form of a vignette, a moment in history, be it set in the emerald green countryside of Ireland, the battlefields of Europe and the Americas, the dusty subcontinent of India, the veldt of Africa or the Australian bush.
